Technology Cadet: First Signal remains the working demo mission. The future mission concepts now use the recovered approved mission-board icons so the visual layer matches the approved media set.
This mission is designed to work today as a tour activity, first-day activity, or open house demo.
Identify three SOTE zones, meet two characters, explain one pathway, and choose a future mission. This is the first functional mission in the portal.
These mission cards stay visible so the pathway is clear, but they are intentionally not clickable until each one receives a complete mission page.
Trace, label, and document physical connectivity from workstation, patch panel, switch, or rack endpoint.
Safely access a switch console session, confirm identity, and document status without making unauthorized changes.
Explain segmentation and validate an approved VLAN path in the SOTE lab environment.
Resolve a simulated support request using clear documentation, verification, and closure notes.
Improve a SOTE Command Portal page, script, map, template, or accessibility feature.
Review an approved firewall scenario and explain the boundary goal in safe, public-friendly language.
Every mission should produce approved evidence, but public pages should only show evidence that has been reviewed and cleared for publication.
