What The SOTE Codex controls
The Codex is the source of truth for names, story rules, character usage, mission vocabulary, badges, spaces, and public-safe language.
Character bible
Each character has a lane, voice, labels, connected spaces, mission uses, and canon guardrails.
Environment canon
The map defines how visitors understand the spaces: classroom, operations, support, patching, engineering, launch, briefing, and cyber defense.
Mission language
Missions must connect a story frame to a real technical skill, evidence artifact, badge, and safe operating boundary.
Student evidence
Future profiles should be opt-in, approved, FERPA-safe, and focused on proof of work, not grades or private student records.
Public-safe rule
No passwords, production credentials, sensitive internal IPs, unapproved screenshots, private student data, or real security weaknesses.
